College of Nursing Activities:-
1. The College of Nursing, NEIGRIHMS organized a One Day Regional Level Webinar in collaboration with USAID Funded Jhpiego - RISE on the theme “Leadership amidst COVID-19 Pandemic : Rise above the challenges.” There were around 400 (four hundred) participants who registered and attended for the Webinar.
The eminent Speakers of the Webinar were :
1. Dr. Latha Venkatesan, Professor-cum-Principal, AIIMS, New Delhi on the topic “Leadership to face challenges among nurses during Pandemic”
2. Mrs. Mamta Verma, Principal Incharge/ Associate Professor, AIIMS, Bhopal was the Speaker on the topics “Barriers toward implementation of effective leadership roles among nurses.”
- 1st April 2022 to 15th April 2022.
2. Swacchta Pakhwada, 2022 was observed in NEIGRIHMS from Various activities were done during the two weeks program where students from College of Nursing actively participated in Debate, Poster, Nuklad Natak competition and cleaning drive in the College premises.
3. The Graduation Day for the 4th Batch of M.Sc.(Nursing) and 12th Batch of B.Sc.(Nursing) and Fresher’s Meet for the 6th Batch of M.Sc.(Nursing) and 16th Batch of B.Sc.(Nursing) students admitted during the session 2021-2022 was held in the Institute’s Auditorium.

4. The College of Nursing, NEIGRIHMS celebrated the Nurses Week where students and the faculties participated actively. On 12th May 2022, a combined celebration of World Nurses Day was held along with the Nursing Department, NEIGRIHMS.
5. The College of Nursing, NEIGRIHMS organized a One Day State Level Workshop on Research Methodology on the theme “Research: Mastering your data” in Lecture Theatre–I, NEIGRIHMS. The Objectives of the Workshop are to gain knowledge on the basis of biostatistics in Research, to appreciate the importance of appropriate interpretation of Research data and to apply the basic SPSS statistical technique in data analysis. 85 (eighty five) delegates from 22 (twenty two) Institutions and health care centres across 7 (seven) District of Meghalaya attended the Workshop. Full Covid protocol was followed.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
The academic activities for the B.Sc.(Nursing) and M.Sc.(Nursing) students were conducted during the year 2021-2022 as per the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council. Practical experience was largely gained at NEIRIHMS hospital. Apart from the regular clinical placement at NEIGRIHMS, students were also sent for clinical experience in various institutions/ set-ups like :
