User education Education is a long life process, there is no end. As far as library activities are concerns they need some sought of user education on how to use library resources and services. To know how to use and what the service available is etc., they must need assistance and guidance (Instructions, Initiation and education). It has its own objectives. user education means to bring the awareness about or to guide the users, about library facilities, collection, services etc, for new users this type of guidance is necessary. |

BOOK EXHIBITION: | ||||||
A book exhibition is a program organized by the Central Library where latest editions of the medical books of various publishers are brought for sale and display. In fact, a book exhibition is considered to be an occasion of great festivity to the book-lovers. It is usually held every year on an open place. The main objective of book exhibition is not sale but display of books on different disciplines. The leading publishers and the vendors of the country set up stalls of their recent publications as well as old ones. The main impression about a book exhibition is that it can play an important role in developing the habit of reading books among the professionals. It is a device to spread culture, education and knowledge. It changes our outlook on life and widens our domain of learning. |

LIBRARY ORIENTATION: | ||||||
Library orientation and instruction are among the programs used to enhance library skills to the new students. These programs help students to know various types of library facilities as well as library resources and services. Library orientation tours and different approaches to them are described, as well as the development of undergraduate and postgraduate programs of user education. Library orientation is the most commonly used technique of increasing student familiarity with the library and its resources. |
